I can't be the only one who watches this award show,

heck any award television or movie show

and cries.

Sometimes the speeches are so touching;

so real,

so raw,

that you can't help but

shed a tear or two.

But for me,

it's not only that.

It's the work

that these talented artists

have put into

reaching a point

but they

are acknowledged

for bringing their truth

to their work

It's inspirational.
