"Thank you for being a great role model in my life."
Those eleven words sprung a leak from my eyes.
Those eleven words made my heart expand and beat stronger.
Those Eleven beautiful words made me smile.
And feel loved.
And seen.
The feelings that filled my heart
when I received
those sweet,
most thoughtful
words,
from across the country
are indescribable.
And when my husband asked me why I was crying, I couldn't even speak.
And perhaps part of that is because those eleven words were the epilogue to this:
"You are beyond dedicated to your goals and dreams, and you're setting such an amazing example for Ethan and I, and everyone else."
"I hope that you occasionally take a step back and see how much you have accomplished even since January of this year. Truly amazing."
"I am so proud of you."
I am truly blessed and grateful,
because the heart that wrote these words to me,
is the very same heart that loves our son.
