When we resist something,
then it's all our mind can focus on.
Our energy is feeding the negativity.
So that's where we stay,
in a negative state of resistance.
Our legs are Stuck knee deep in drying concrete,
while our arms flail forcefully trying to push whatever it is away.
It takes a lot of work.
It's tiresome.
And scary.
But if we open up to it,
accept what it is that we are trying to resist,
then our body and mind knows how to restore it's balance.
Homeostasis of the soul.
I'm at the time in my life when I am all about balance.
I am all about listening to what my soul needs.
I've always innately heard it,
as some of us do.
But also like some of us,
I haven't always listened.
Sometimes externally trying to find balance,
that coincides with our inner balance,
is a different story.
A juxtaposition.
Factors out of our control.
Things that we can't change.
Things that we can't fix.
So knowing exactly what a new chapter of life looks like,
is a journey in and of itself.
And also, possibly scary.
But change brings the possibility of something beautiful,
something wonderful.
Where a negative state of resistance does not.
By opening up we offer ourselves the possibility of something breathtaking,
something that we would've never seen had this change not occurred.
So keep your chin up on your journey
and I'll do the same.
