According to Wikipedia: A leprechaun (Irish: leipreachán/luchorpán) is a diminutive supernatural being in Irish folklore, classed by some as a type of solitary fairy. They are usually depicted as little bearded men, wearing a coat and hat, who partake in mischief. In later times, they have been depicted as shoe-makers who have a hidden pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.
I had my moment with the ere of fairies. It was when I took the photo attached to this blog post.
As a family we were walking through a beautiful wooded area on Vancouver Island. If you’ve walked amongst the trees on Vancouver Island, you know that they are massive. In places their limbs seem to umbrella together. Majestically old trees.
We came to an opening, where the sun shone in. Almost magically. The ground was filled with ferns… with an aura of light cast around them. It caught me breathless. As it did my sons partner. We stared in awe.
Do you see that? Yes.
Do you feel that? Yes.
It seemed we may have been in the presence fairies.
The photo of this moment displays on a canvas in our home. I can still see the aura of Energy around the leaves of the ferns.
A reminder to always take a moment to really see what’s right in front of us, to believe in things bigger & better than the everyday mundane rushed routine of life.
Happy St Patrick’s Day
