Every morning we go through the same routine.
And it makes my heart smile.
As soon as the sun is up
this girl

loves to go outside
She always walks to the edge of the deck
and wags her tail
as she visually takes in the yard
She scans the property
tail wagging the entire time.
This makes my heart happy.
To see
her happiness
to just be outside.
When she's done
skipping her paws through the grass
She mosey's on up
onto the chair
and has a little
awkward looking nap

I'm truly amazed
by the joy
that she brings us
These simple moments
always bring gratitude to my heart
and a smile
to my face
